About the Melody and George Team

In 2008, George and Melody left their executive positions in Silicon Valley and moved to Oahu to begin a new venture in real estate. In just a few years, they earned a coveted spot in Hawaii Business Magazine’s “Top 100 Realtors.” George also served a three year term on the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® Grievance Committee, which is responsible for enforcing the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.

With satisfied real estate clients numbering in the several hundreds, Melody and George have the network and experience necessary to meet their clients’ needs professionally and personally.  Banks trust them to sell their bank-owned homes, mainland realtors their Hawaii properties, investors their rentals, and single family homeowners their homes. 

Melody and George bring with them a keen knowledge of Oahu’s individual neighborhoods and how each listing has attributes that will appeal to buyers. As an avid diver and paddle boarder, Melody also understands the need for balance.  To her, it’s important her clients understand the balance they can introduce into their lives with each location they consider.

 George is a keen negotiator and strategic thinker, experience he gained as a senior executive for Fortune 500 companies before discovering his love of real estate on this island.  George received his B.S. degrees in Geology and Chemistry, and then completed graduate school in the same fields. His career includes executive positions at Deloitte Consulting Services, Oracle, and Price WaterhouseCoopers. Today, he also works on the IT systems for Kamehameha Schools.

 Melody uses her creativity and extensive advertising and marketing expertise to ensure their clients receive all of the benefits the Internet and print media have to offer. After receiving her B.A. degree and completing graduate school, Melody worked for an L.A. advertising firm where she handled their top clients, including Ford and Frito-Lay. Later in her career, she was director of Internet Services at EarthLink and director of Innovation at Visa, Inc.
